@shannon_wahm: You're not supposed to know everything about labor before your first birth. Confidence doesn't come from memorizing every possible scenario. It comes from learning one new thing at a time and practicing the skills that help you feel prepared. Whether you're in your first trimester or counting down the days until your due date, start building your birth toolbox now. Every question you ask, every comfort measure you practice, and every birth education resource you explore helps you feel more in control when labor begins. What's one thing about labor or birth you've always wanted to know? Ask me in the comments, and it might be featured in an upcoming video! #PregnancyTips #BirthPreparation #LaborAndDelivery #FirstTimeMom #BirthDoula
10/10 recommend learning breathing / coping mechanisms. I got the epidural but it failed went from 5cm to baby being here in 3 minutes. those 3 minutes were spent focusing on breathing and pushing! pushed her out in 2 pushes.
