looking at it another way the historical 3 years up 1 year down down doesn't appear to have held up this time and also historical dips have been far more brutal up to 80% from ATH which would mean a dip to about 30k before it rips up again. Unlikely but I doubt anyone expected it to go below 20k last cycle either - yet it did.
