Yes but it’s not New York style at all. It’s very much a restaurant experience. The desserts are just as good as the pizza, maybe better.

As someone who recently moved to NY from LA, Quarter Sheets absolutely holds its own with some of the best pizza joints in the city. Their princess cake might also be the best cake I’ve ever had in my life.

It’s definitely the best spot in LA. The line is stupid, but you can pre-order and pick up it’s more Sicilian style so I recommend getting the square pies as opposed to the round.

I’m from NY state and there’s really nothing that compares here…but quarter sheets is Detroit style (and was actually my first time trying that type of pizza) and i think it’s quite good. It’s thick/different than your typical slice with a cooked cheese crust—basically like a piece of focaccia with toppings. i think it’s really good. Even like some of their specialty slices with the sesame crust. I find if you go earlier (around 5) wait time isn’t awful, prking is the worst bit tbh.

The Detroit pizzas are awesome. The actual sides are amazing because the owners have a chef background and finally the Pastry Chef Hannah is really talented. Her desserts are not overly sweet

Nothing like New York pizza but just make a reservation to eat inside and you won’t have to wait in line long! Some of the best food to have in echo park + the desserts are amazing
