Not an automation, but we have a shared Apple note called “shopping lists” that has sections for each store. “Grocery”, “Costco”, “Target”, “Petco/Petsmart”, “Home Depot” etc. Run out of something? Put it on the shopping list note. When either of us are at the store we can pull it up easily.

I have an automation that when our sleep number bed reports we are in bed and both phones are charging and it is after 8pm it locks down the house turns off all lights closes all blinds. And sets all of the lighting automations to night mode

My phone texts my mom morning and night, and then when she responds it texts my sister that she texted me. She has the same setup. That way we both know who was last to hear from mom at any given moment

When our daughter was little, our main floor lights switched to a dim, purple-ish glow in the evening at bedtime. It’s like “the house” was telling all of us (but really just her) that it was bedtime. And who are we parents to argue with the HOUSE?! 🤣 It was funny one time when we had a big dinner party and at 8 all the lights went dim. They were like “I mean just tell us if you want us to leave!” 🤣🤣

My phone goes into do not disturb when I pull into the parking lot for my massage appointment every month and stays that way until I leave. Seriously- leave me alone. 🤣

I do a similar thing. I have a shared shopping list and we both put stuff on it and when my phone connects to my car, it checks to see if there items on the list and sets maps to the supermarket. If no items on the list, it sets my route to home

We have robot vacuums automated to mop and sweep when we sleep. We just added the robot lawn mower. Amazing, we don’t have to cut grass in the heat
