@kelseyonsocial: If you know me, I prioritize eating at black owned restaurants. If I’m gonna spend a dollar, it’s gonna be to support local black businesses. We went Creole Soul Restaurant in Fells Point. I was pretty excited because I love the R. House location. Unfortunately, they disappointed us all the way around. We got there and the menu is very limited. They are also not serving alcohol right now. If you are allergic or don’t like seafood, don’t even go. I ordered the crab and shrimp dip as an appetizer…. It took 43 minutes to come…. And then it looked disgusting. Before it came out we told our server that we don’t want it anymore it took too long and we just want the check. She insisted we stay our food would be coming… at this point we had been waiting 52 minutes. She gets the manager and the manager comes out about 5 minutes later with the entree and apologizes and says the kitchen was flooded because it got busy. It might have been 15 people max and no one on our side had their food yet soooo idk. No offer to comp, free desert or take something off the bill… womp womp very disappointing. The server comes back to tell us we have to pay for the dip and we are like no we didn’t even eat it and we told you we wanted to leave before you put it on the table…. She literally decides to go back and forth with us about it…. Ultimately we literally just got up and left because the service was terrible. I don’t even think the dip was fully cooked, the crab was definitely canned crab and looked fishy… barely any shrimp… I hate bad reviews…. But don’t waste your time. #baltimore #dinner #date #night
