@bhadmommy: One year of marriage. One of the happiest years of my life… well, that isn’t entirely true, because my happiest days started the moment I met you. We have both grown so much as people, loved each other at our lowest, built each other up to where we are now, and I’m pretty proud of who we are today. If you were to ask me if I believe in soulmates, my answer is, without a doubt, yes. The love and connection we share is something that only happens once in a lifetime. It’s the kind of love you see in the movies. It’s the kind of love so many people spend their lives searching for… and somehow, we found it. I wake up each and every day feeling blessed to have this beautiful life we’ve built together. Our one-year anniversary trip was nothing short of a dream. We stayed at the most gorgeous hotel, stopped at so many restaurants that had been on our list for drinks and appetizers, walked along the water, and soaked in the beautiful scenery. We ended our night with a very late dinner at one of our favorite places. The next morning, we had the most amazing brunch before making another stop at Frederik Meijer Gardens. We also started a new tradition… re-reading our vows and adding another page to them every year. A new chapter for every year we are blessed to spend together.
