great work. great ideas. selling and marketing is a vital part of your job as an artist, and well done on this video. Some of your future ideas for sales and marketing might not work, but take any mistake in your stride, and consider it a vital learning experience. One idea is to try and imagine what type of car your typical customer drives, what suburb they live in, and where they go for holidays. A target market where your target customer drives a Toyota corolla is very different to a customer who drives a Ford Ranger or BMW. Each can be the basis of a successful artist career. Be careful of scaring away potential buyers by quoting a $10,000 sale price. You're worth it, but you only get one chance to make a good first impression. You should be very proud of yourself. And, collecting email addresses for a mailing list, where you can be in control of direct comms with the community, and you can invite people to exhibitions, events, etc is a great idea. Or, tiktok can also be an effective way to communicate to customers, as you have clearly experienced. Keep up the good work.
