@saw.built: Hitching post project start to finish - gelding-approved. The reclaimed drill pipe is perfect for the post pounder to drive deep in the ground - roughly 3.5’ below and 4.5’ above. Higher hitching posts mean horses are less likely to pull with all their might. We used the mobile welding trailer and generator. The Vs below the horizontal section keep the horses from sliding down the pipe or act as a feed hanger.
