@daniellejmitchell: Morning vlog: life after loss of our daughter, and just like that the world keeps spinning… Betts back at daycare, Naths back doing short days, I’ve canceled work, I currently can’t sleep which is making it worse. I don’t think I’m ready for work yet but it’s so hard when you run your own company, because you don’t have a choice but to keep showing up. I just want my old life back 😭😭😭😭😭😭. Going to give myself a couple more days, then try again.
you need to give yourself as much time as you can before going back to work. you've delivered a baby and you need to actually recover.

How dare someone else, critique the way you are grieving! I’m so outraged for you! Girl you do whatever feels best for you. Grief is not linear, there is no start and end date, and it’s different for everyone. I hope these awful people are not impacting your mental health, even more than what it already is. Sending big love ❤️

Do you like massages? When I was going through some grief recently I went and had a lovely massage. It helped relieve some tension in my body and I felt a tiny bit better.

Grieving your baby while still being strong for your other baby is something no one will ever understand unless you have been there. Never ever second guess yourself

I mean it in a caring way, your body needs rest, if you are able to, make a doctor’s appointment asap. They should be able to prescribe you some sleeping tablets so you’re able to have a decent sleep. Sending you all the love 💕

I hope you don't mind me asking, and please don't feel like you have to answer if it's too personal, but when Maggie was born, did the doctors do any extra genetic testing to try and find out what caused her conditions?

Don’t let anyone tell you how to grieve , grief is such a roller coaster of emotions there is no right or wrong way and there’s no time frame you do what’s best for you 💜sending you the biggest hugs 💐

This is the proof every single person needs to see. This mother has lost a child but gets up, acts as if business as usual for her other child then takes care of her business and when she has a moment to herself cry’s to relieve the pain in heart and does it all again. Grieving is a very personal experience no one has the right to judge 🥰 you ARE A WARRIOR may you heal your heart each day

There is no handbook for losing a child, and there is certainly no “right” way to grieve. Please don’t let anyone make you feel like the way you’re grieving is wrong.
If sitting in your car and crying is what helps you get through the day, then that’s exactly what you should do. Sometimes sitting alone at home with the silence is just too much to carry, and if being in your car gives you a place where you feel safe enough to let it all out, then that’s okay.
Grief looks different for everyone because love looks different for everyone. The depth of your pain simply reflects the depth of your love for your beautiful daughter. Keep grieving in whatever way you need to. No one else has walked in your shoes, and no one else gets to decide what healing should look like for you.

I just wanted to tell you that you’re doing such an incredible job. Grief and parenting at the same time is one of the hardest things to carry, and yet you’re still showing up for your daughter while carrying the weight of missing your baby too.
Some days surviving is enough. Some days getting out of bed is enough. Some days even breathing through the pain is enough. There is no timeline for grief, no right way to do it, and no point where you should be “over it.” It can hit you out of nowhere months or years later, and that’s completely okay.
Be gentle with yourself. If all you manage today is one thing, that’s a win. And if today is a day where you need to rest and simply exist, that’s okay too.
From one bereaved mum to another, I see how hard you’re trying, and I hope you know that what you’re doing every day is nothing short of remarkable. 🤍

The word strong doesn’t even come close to who you are. You are beyond a warrior and seeing you still showing up for your family is incredible. Please allow yourself to grieve and heal in your own way despite what anyone else has to say. I know we aren’t friends but you have such a strong place in my heart that makes me want to reach out and give you the biggest, warmest hug to take the weight off your world just for a moment. Sending all my love and light to you and your tribe 🤍
