It follows Tara, a girl married off as a child, only to be widowed before she even had the chance to understand what marriage meant. The story isn't just about widowhood; it's about a lifetime shaped by traditions she never chose, the weight of societal expectations, loneliness, resilience, and the quiet hope for dignity and freedom. It holds up a mirror to a chapter of our history that many women lived through. The performance left me speechless. The way the actors carried such heavy emotions on stage without missing a beat was incredible. It wasn't just a play it was an experience that stayed with me long after the curtains closed.
