As a Christian, I view the movie in a different perspective. I see Michael Hosea's love for Angel/Sarah as a symbol of God's Love to us. And Angel symbolizes us, humans, as sinners. I cried watching how Michael's love accepted Angel's flaws without judging her past. Just like how God accepting and forgiving us beyond our sins.
