Part 1 - Preparation • Open your Qur'an. • Remove all distractions - for this hour, you need full focus. • Choose a reciter for the page you are memorizing. Part 2 - Listening • Play each ayah and repeat it three times: • 1st time → just listen carefully. • 2nd & 3rd time → read along with the reciter. Memorizing Process (PART 1) • Start memorizing the first ayah (you already know its sound from listening). • Move on to the second ayah, then combine it with the first. • Continue this process: • Add the third ayah, then combine the first, second, and third together. • Keep going until you reach half a page (in 15 minutes). Memorization Process ( PART 2) • After half a page is done: • Add one more ayah → now you have half a page + 1 ayah. • Add another ayah → now half a page + 2 ayahs. • Continue in this way until you reach about three-quarters of the page. • Keep going back to the start of the page and reciting everything combined to strengthen it. • If you struggle with a certain ayah, isolate it, memorize it again, and then rejoin it with the section. Strengthening • In the last 10 minutes: • Focus on the final two ayahs of the page. • Memorize them, combine them together, then blend them into the rest of the page. • Finally, recite the entire page from beginning to end by heart. • Use the last 5 minutes to go over the whole page again for maximum retention.
