Fyi the reason for high prices at Ben tanh aswell as Saigon square is that they expect you to Haggle and negotiate since it is their culture. If you don't and just pay their asking price they will think that you are stupid for paying the price. If the price is too low for them than they will make it clear. So instead of skipping, try haggling next time !

Saigón market and Benh than market the sellers have become super rude, and expensive I was there today and left without nothing ! Just rude people! I used to go there years ago but I left disappointed!

I love how tourists go to a few markets once and recommend it as 'the best' 😆 The Box, Ben Thanh Market, Saigon Square actually have the same stall owners with the same prices and goods. It's no cheaper betwen them - you just have to have your haggle game on.
