(Fun fact: tempura and tendon aren't the same—tendon batter is thicker so it absorbs the sauce beautifully!) They just released a new summer dish: Hiyashi Seafood Udon! It comes in two flavors, sesame and spicy, for $19.95 each. Both are loaded with fresh salmon, baby scallops, shredded cabbage, crispy tempura flakes, cucumber, and seaweed. I really enjoyed the sesame one! Also, never skip dessert here.
