OK, so my wife is a SAHM. 5:00am wakes up. 5:00-6:00am works out. 6:00-6:30am makes lunches for kids and me. 6:30-7:15am gets kids up, does their hair, gets them ready for school. 7:30-8:00am makes them all breakfast. 8:15am - 9:00am takes them to school. 9:00am - 10:30am takes her mom to Physical Therapy. 10:30-11:30am grocery shopping, retuning Amazon packages, shopping for her mom, etc. 11:30-11:40am lunch for herself 11:40-1:00pm put away the dishes, clean the kitchen, make the beds, laundry, vacuum. 1:00-1:30pm take the dog for a walk. 1:30-2:00pm pay bills. 2:00pm -3:00pm pick up oldest and take her to tennis practice. 3:00pm - 3:15pm pick up youngest kid at school and drop off at home. 3:15-4:00pm make snacks and help with homework. 4:00-4:30pm take youngest to Pom practice. 4:30-5:30pm make dinner. 5:30pm. 30 minutes of rest. 6:00pm Pick youngest up from Pom. 6:30pm -7:00pm dinner with kids. 7:00-7:20pm put dinner away, clean up kitchen. 7:30-8:15pm get kids ready for bed. 8:15pm -8:45pm reheat dinner and have dinner with me. 8:45-9:15pm run over to her mom’s house because she can’t find her glasses. 9:15-9:45pm put kids to bed. 9:45-10:00am watch half a show on TV. 10:00-10:05 put me to bed. 10:05-10:45pm respond to coaches, teachers, friends, mom’s e-mails and text messages. 10:45-11:15pm. Take off makeup and shower. 11:30pm go to sleep and do it all over again in 5.5 hours. For all the working spouses, how was your 1.5 hour lunch during your 9-5pm and did you thank your spouse for dinner?

Andrew goes too far when making his arguments. Just grant that she makes breakfast most mornings. My mom cooked us breakfast most school days. Usually bacon or sausage and eggs with biscuits or toast

Aufstehen um 6 Uhr, mich fertig machen, Badezimmer putzen, Spülmaschine ausräumen & Waschmaschine anstellen. 6:30 Uhr großer steht auf. Beim fertig machen betreuen, Zähne nach putzen, Frühstück machen. 7 Uhr, kleiner steht auf. Ihn komplett alleine fertig machen. 7:30 Uhr, großer geht zur Schule. 8 Uhr, mit dem kleinen frühstücken & spielen. 9 Uhr Kindergarten. 9:30 Uhr mit dem Hund raus. 10:30 Uhr einkaufen & ausräumen etc. 11:30 Uhr Haus sauber machen, Wäsche etc. 12:30 Uhr kochen. Dann bisschen Pause. 14 Uhr hole ich den Kleinen vom Kindergarten. 14:30 Uhr ist der große auch zuhause & ab da beschäftigt man sich mit den Kindern. Um 15:30 Uhr ist mein Mann zuhause. Ich habe um ca 19 Uhr Feierabend, weil ich abends konsequent nichts mehr mache, außer die Spülmaschine anstellen. Was will der Typ bitte?

I don’t work in the winter time and I have my kids full-time and it’s way easier to take care of my kids in the household than me working as a construction worker

For me, having two boys attending a private school as one had a disability, I drove them back and forth every day. I volunteered in their classrooms, worked at the school store, helped with every class party, and chaperoned countless field trips. I handled school projects, all homework and tutoring work, all doctor’s appointments, coordinated sports schedules, and attended every game and activity. At home, I took care of the cleaning, cooking, shopping, and household maintenance. Being a full-time mom requires an incredible amount of patience and dedication, but it can also be repetitive and mentally exhausting at times. The hardest part is that much of what you do goes unnoticed. You work tirelessly behind the scenes, and there is often very little recognition for all the time, effort, and sacrifice that goes into raising a family.
