I don’t necessarily disagree with the concept of using a dedicated mp3 player but I just had beef with a couple of your points. 1) you don’t need data to play from streaming services like Apple Music for example. You can pre-download music to your device so you can listen completely offline. 2) I guarantee you 90% of ppl can’t hear an audible difference between wired audio and Bluetooth audio when listening either in their car or on mid-to-low end wired ear buds. There’s a sliver of the population who actually car about that minute difference and they’re usually audiophiles with high end audio equipment and lossless audio files. The rest of the world doesn’t care.
