Completely normal. As long as hands are being washed regularly it's cleaner not to wear gloves.

Ask any health inspector - people act like gloves are these magical force fields that prevent dirty hands from touching food. The fact is bare hands get washed often. Gloved hands stay with the same pair of gloves for far too long.
