@haramainarchive: Six Madds in One Ayat, and in One Breath! In this Ayah, Sheikh Saud Ash-Shuraim recites six madds in one breath, mostly Madd Muttasil (when a madd letter meets a hamzah ء in the same word) and Madd Munfasil (when the madd letter is at the end of a word and the hamzah إ comes at the start of the next word). This ayat describes the hypocrites. The elongated elongations are used deliberately to convey the spiritual suspense, wavering, and instability of a person stuck between faith (emaan) and disbelief (kufr). Knowing madds is not just about lengthening sounds, it is about preserving the Qur’an exactly as it was revealed, ensuring that every letter, stretch, and pause carries its true meaning and beauty. Each madd has its own rule of elongation, usually 4-5 counts (known as harakat), and the reciter must apply them accurately, one after the other, without breaking the flow. That’s what makes this recitation so powerful; the count of each madd is timed perfectly without break, all serving the purpose of the meaning. #سعود_الشريم #Tajweed
