I've played genshin alot when it was 2023, I love the story telling but when Wuwa came out and tried it, it feels like i cant get back to genshin anymore. Ive stopped playing at version 3.0+ in genshin seeing the story makes me want to play it again but sadly genshin is something i cant play snymore

I don't really get it when people saying GI has better lore, like yeah I agree but the storytelling is just 1/10 for me. It just feels like a chore doing the story. Unlike how wuwa is doing it 100% immersion experience.

As someone who plays both genshin and wuwa, genshin story got significantly worse and more boring over time, while wuwa significantly upgraded story and the quality of writing, current wuwa story > current genshin story

Objectively, WuWa changed the standards in the gacha space. From: gameplay fluidity, feel, and general design. Story presentation of emotional scenes, character interaction, cause and effect, and general direction. - One thing I found most interesting is the constant improvement nearly every patch. Graphically, art direction, narrative, character development, etc, there are plenty of improvements. I personally don’t play gacha, I am entirely an outsider watching the story. This is my unbiased opinion on WuWa. I still have my criticisms in storytelling, which I believe will be improved upon.

“with no heart”?? idk as someone who plays both since launch, wuwa’s lore is getting more and more depressing and deep, while genshin is getting more and more childish without any depth on their story beside the importance of friendship. Dawei prefers happy endings, it’s too common that it gets boring and repetitive, Solon wanted some depressing shit, and he really hits players hearts so much.

Wuthering waves's only resemblance to genshin is the genre, open world gacha. On any other point it is nothing alike. Wuwa has good stories, good collabs, cinema level cutscenes, amazing characters with original abilities, and most importantly they put the player experience first
