@tom.fitzgerald13: Most medieval kings desperately wanted sons. Sons inherited thrones but before they could they also had an awkward habit of rebelling against their fathers. History is full of kings brought down by ambitious sons. But Genghis Khan looked at the problem differently. Rather than treating his daughters as political afterthoughts, he married them into strategically important neighbouring kingdoms, required his sons-in-law to make them their chief wives, and then sent the sons-in-law off to fight in Mongol campaigns. If they died, his daughters often ruled those territories in their own right, extending Mongol influence across huge stretches of Asia. Meanwhile, after Genghis Khan’s death, many of his sons and grandsons spent decades fighting each other over the empire. His daughters on the other hand ruled some of their territories for many years. Further reading: Jack Weatherford — The Secret History of the Mongol Queens

Fun fact, Genghis Khan's daughter in law and wife to his direct successor Ogedei Khan, Töregene Khatun, ruled his Empire for five years after Ogedei died until she installed her son Guyuk as Khan. Like, she was in Genghis Khan's position for years ruling his Empire until she willingly gave it up to her son. Unfortunately her son didn't show any gratitude because he would later act against her and her supporters/advisers and kill them all.

Well :
Daughters understand their fathers better than anyone. It makes me so happy when a man is happy to be a girl dad.

One of the most popular people was Julius Caesar and his legacy was carried on by a nephew (not even a close nephew) why not just name a male family member your heir instead of all these.
