And nobody tells you that wanting more — more money, more time, more freedom — does not make you ungrateful. It makes you human. I spent a long time feeling guilty for wanting something different. I was doing a job that mattered. I was helping people every single day. Who was I to want more than that? But I was also a solo mum. Running on empty. Living payday to payday. And quietly terrified that nothing was ever going to change. So I built something. Alongside my shifts. Around my son. In the twenty minutes I had before I was too tired to keep my eyes open.
