@dogcareclinic: Rayan's owner brought him to the clinic in June 2022 because all four of his paws were badly injured and infested with maggots. It was more than clear that he had not been caring for his dog at all. When he brought Rayan in, he even stated that he had no interest in picking him up again after treatment. We appreciated that, because we had no intention of letting Rayan go back to this owner. After his recovery, we found Rayan a new home. His new owner, however, was not able to manage a German Shepherd, and Rayan came back to us. Rather than putting him through another rehoming process, we integrated him into one of our packs on the clinic grounds. From that point on, he lived a happy and settled life as a resident of the Dog Care Clinic. In June 2026, his condition deteriorated as a result of long-term filariosis, and with heavy hearts, we had to let him go. Rayan was ten years old. We are deeply saddened by his loss. 💔🕊️
