I put the eggs in the fridge so that they last longer. Months even. But if I know that I will be baking a lot then I just keep them room temp. /Swedish in the Netherlands 🌺

We refridgerate eggs, they sit out in the cool part of the store but at Home in the refridgerator they can stay fresh for a month (or longer) past best before-date
