PLEASE READ . Most of us moms will or did coosleep at some point and making it feel like it’s something bad or taboo increases the risk as safe rules are not followed because of lack of education. People coslept through centuries and I truly believe we moms are built for that (if you disagree it’s totally okay I am not here to fight with anyone as every mom should do as she pleases ) Some of the other rules we follow that I did not mention in the video : - Milo slept in the coosleeping bassinet by our bed until he was 6 months old only after I felt comfortable bringing him to our bed as now he is able to lift himself up and remove anything of his face (prior to that he would sometimes end up accidentally in our bed in the middle of the night) - we are always sober . I don’t drink because I am breastfeeding but if Randy decided to have a couple drinks he knows he is going to the couch and there is no question about it - we try to keep Milo on my side but in the middle of the night things happen and sometimes he ends in the middle - I am a pretty light sleeper so when Milo moves or fusses I hear every bit of it and react immediately ( that is a new mom thing I used to sleep like a rock before ) - Milo doesn’t cry when he wakes up and every morning I am greeted with the biggest smile and I cannot imagine a better way to wake up 🥹 I think our babies are little for such a short period of time and need us only for a couple of years before they want to be independent and I am here for every minute of it soaking it all up before he decides to move out to his own room 🥹🫶🏻 #postpartum #momtok
