when I got pulled over with a SUSPENDED not expired but suspended registration that had been suspended for over a year the sheriffs office seen I had two children with me and asked if this was the only vehicle I had I said yes the officer ran my ID and came back and told me to have a great rest of my day and got back into his vehicle and left. No ticket no towing my vehicle no harassment simple and empathetic. idk about others experiences but I know mine was a positive one.... that is all

he legally has to be wearing visible badges as well as name tags with his # and name. but there isnt any statutory law saying they have to verbally ID themselves
