At a time of escalating volatility, we need to question how we define belonging, whose humanity is acknowledged and why the most vulnerable communities are scapegoated during times of political uncertainty.
Curious. What makes you think white immigrants are seen at all by people in the townships ? Considering South Africa’s inequality. What would make the paths of a poor township dweller cross with that of a European illegal immigrant ?
