@tedros.adhanom: As a grandfather of four young children, there's no greater joy in my life than watching them grow up healthy. To watch their talents evolve. To help their dreams come true. Vaccines and timely access to immunization are largely to thank for this joy. Over the last 50 years, vaccines have saved at least 6 lives every minute. And therefore, vaccination accounts for 40% of the improvement in baby survival rates, and more children now live to see their first birthday and beyond than at any other time in human history. As a parent and public health professional, I can confidently say that vaccines are one of the best gifts we can give to our children and grandchildren to enable them to pursue their talents and dreams. Let's put our minds to it and give the gift of life to all children and grandchildren. #HumanlyPossible
