As a SOLIDWORKS course creator, one of the questions I get asked most often is: “How do you make your SOLIDWORKS models move so smoothly — like you’re flying a tiny CAD helicopter around them?” The secret is my wireless SpaceMouse Pro from @3dconnexion This Bluetooth wireless 3D mouse gives me complete control over model movement through its intuitive, joystick-like controller. It allows me to rotate, zoom, and pan naturally — almost as if I’m inside the model itself. What makes it even better is that the SpaceMouse Pro is operated with your left hand, keeping your right hand free for regular mouse work. This setup helps distribute hand movement more evenly, reduces strain, and minimizes the need to constantly scroll or zoom in and out in SOLIDWORKS.
