@alba.nicoleee: Any tips for my 1st 21km? 👀😩 I’m running my 1st half marathon this weekend at REV Tri-City Half Marathon! Medyo kinakabahan ako because the longest I’ve ran is 16km and flyover pro max pa yung route LOL 😅 I know that anything I do will be a PR tho, but I’m hoping for a sub-3hr time! as this event is organized by runrio, I recommend not skipping any hydration stations, just be careful with the energy drinks if hindi gusto ng katawan mo. Most importantly, smile! don't let the race adrenaline get the best of you! best of legs!

My suggested race strategy is 7k warm up + 7k easy run + 7k race pace + 100 meter looking good at the finish line pace.
Enjoy the whole experience. It's your first half mary.

start slow until 5KM, control & cruise until 16KM, then race pace in the last 5KM :)

Don't try anything new on your 1st 21km race when it comes to food and clothing/shoes. eat the usual bfast in the morning
