Highly depends on the lake. Done it most of my childhood, and never got that. But I managed to get 2nd degree sunburn from 5 hours in a lake because it was refreshing in the 35 degrees heat.

I had this once when i was child, horrible thing 😭 Mime was from hot wheather and bird poop backetia in water. Hot shower and scrubbing and hot sauna helped a lot with my itching. So if u have sauna go for it 😂

At such weather theres micro bacteria that might cause it so before going into the water use disinfectant liquid over ur body helped me atleast

That looks like 'swimmer's itch' - it's a parasite that burrows into the feet of waterbirds. It can't survive in the human body, so your immune system will kill it very quickly, but you might have a few itchy spots for a while as it heals up. My sister had it a few years ago!

I had that too once , its a parasite living in fresh water. Normaly its attacks birds , its not dangerous . Try taking allergy pills that might help ..
