I don’t think people realise how big of a power water is, it’s not a weak power it’s arguably one of the strongest considering almost EVERYTHING has water in it, blood bending u can do if ur a water bender and blood bending is again arguably worse then death, it’s basically free Labor, water is also equivalent to ice so with water u can drown people, freeze them, blood bend them and basically make them ur slave, u can heal with water. Water is both the balance of death and healing u can heal people with it and u can kill them in some of the worst ways imaginable. The fire nation came for the southern water tribe because there weren’t many people left and they thought them weak, but they never even dared to come after the northern water tribe because they themselves knew how powerful the northern tribe was, and even when they did decide to attack the northern water tribe it was when the sun was up so logically the fire benders would be more powerful, and when the moon came up u can see the fire nation panicking because even they knew when the moon is up it makes the water bending 10 times powerful

LOK made water seem more of a threat than it was because they always conveniently had lakes or gallons of water around in a battle, in any normal setting a waterbender wouldn't be much of a threat, even BB was as much of a threat as it was cus it was forbidden thus unknown kinda like how lightning was a rare 1shot technique till it got standardized and taught to every fire bender, but we see BB get counter nearly everytime its used, by 5 different people and mostly through bruteforce, if it were standardized it likely would have an easily accessible counter

Si lo analizamos, el agua control posee el mejor sub control en combate, también es capaz de controlar espíritus y por último y más importante, es el único elemento con la capacidad de sanar. Definitivamente el agua control es el mejor elemento. Pero aún así sería una maestra aire.

Water is the best. The only draw back is environment. I wish we saw more waterbenders bending water out of thin air in LOK like Hama did in ATLA.
