I have a history of low blood pressure they kept fobbing me off, and no it's still not solved because I got fed up of gps being useless and refusing referral. DW my friend is training to be a doctor, she's going to look into it when she's qualified enough to do so.

My husband and I went to the doctor back to back with all the same symptoms. He was given antibiotics for a sinus infection I was told to give it time. A few days later I had to go back to finally get what I needed. Basically I had to pay twice to get the care I needed. That finally opened his eyes.

currently trying to get properly medicated for my ADHD. one of the common symptoms of the last medication i tried is depression. i told them it made me depressed. they told me to keep trying it for another month because i mightve just been on my period 🥹🥹

9 years of being told nothing was wrong, until a hysterectomy discovered stage 3 endometriosis, which I didn't get told until a week after the operation.

I write my symptoms and questions on a sticky note and take them in with me to the drs because I get so nervous when I start to get gaslit I forget what all my questions were

Wow I am pissed. I had the surgery to check for endo and they said it was negative even though I show every symptom severely. Just looked it up and theres like a 30% chance THEY WERE WRONG and just told me its all in my head. I need to find an endometriosis specialist apparently

I was diagnosed with a long list of psychiatric issues in my late teens for my issues. just before 30, I was diagnosed with endometriosis and received my first laparoscopy. At 35 I got a hysterectomy. Life has been completely different since that diagnosis.

we both had covid, he barely had symptoms, he walks out with meds. I'm dying of a severe cough, fatigue, runny nose that went quit, I walk out with a diagnosis...... I had to call back for cough syrup that didn't even work.

It took 9 yrs to get my endometriosis diagnoses. I was told repeatedly that my periods were normal and everyone had pain. i collapsed from blood loss and it still took a few years after that to send me for a laparoscopy and they found out i had endometriosis on top of endometriosis and the doctor asked why it had taken so long for me to be seen

I was in acute appendicitis… I was told it was constipation and send home. My gallbladder was full of stones and sludge the Dr so it on ultrasound and still sent me home. I expect 2-4 appointments before I’ll get treatment.

I desperately try NOT to go to the doctor's, it's always either "give it time", "could lose some weight", "do you smoke"!!!! perimenopausal, but apparently too young!!!! I'm 46!!!

Women with Endo are heroes! I was diagnosed with PMOS over 20 years ago (1 in 8 women have this). To date I have never been referred to a specialist, I’ve had to beg for treatment, but nothing. Us cysters just have to get on with it. To be diagnosed with a chronic condition and received zero care is very typical for us.
