Decades before that and decades after they keep trying to keep deceased women's bodies as an incubator for fetuses that aren't yet developed. But they'd punish a paramedic for saving a viable baby since there is no way to save the woman or support the baby? Yeah, that's fucked up.

Paramedics should have certifications to perform stuff like this, it’s still saving a fucking life. Either have a certification and do it, or don’t get certified and don’t be able to do it, but they should be fucking allowed to do it😒

Complained about 15 minutes? In the UK its a 1-3h wait for an ambulance. They've stopped training paramedics because we can't afford more ambulances or afford to pay to staff them. Publicly funded health care is fantastic for every day injuries and covering operations and treatments etc but when it's life threatening (and most important), it is a useless system

Yooo AFE! Last statistics I checked it happens in around 1/40000 births. Mortality rate so high when I survived one (20j years ago) that it was normally diagnosed post mortem. Most surviving parents are left with some degree of difficulty, everything from permanent disablement and changed to the blood system to mild brain injury.

If I were that woman I would launch a massive protest on them. If she saved my niece after losing my sister I’d go all the way to have her back. She saved a life. I would do whatever I could to help her and have her back.
