Completely agree with this. I stopped weighing myself over a year ago when I started regular strength training and I’m much happier. I feel amazing and I’m so happy with my body that the number in the scale doesn’t matter to me now.

She’s so right. i spent most of my life starving myself to be skinny. now in my 50s I’m dealing with healing a host of metabolism issues and hashimoto’s. i can’t eat more than 800 cal without gaining weight. and I work out everyday. never diet. and stay active. eat whole foods not processed 💖🙏

THIS! I abandoned toxic diet culture about 10 years ago and I haven't looked back. I no longer weigh as my measurement. Instead, I just have movement goals and like nutrition input goals. How can I get my protein in? How can I go a little further on the trail? How can I lift heavier? How can I get the right nutrition and so that my blood work comes back looking good? Those are my measurements of success
