partly true except that that particular vessel doesn't just treat patients it also treats both sides so if for example the US were at war with Iran that ship can take both us and Iranian personnel who are injured however it does not stop them from being raided they cannot stop ships from boarding then they cannot offer any resistance or anything and they have to allow their patients to be taken so for example if they were looking after Iranian personal and the US decided to raid the ship the US can just basically take them as prisoners of war with and the Hartlepool ship cannot do anything about it that being said it is a career ending move if the US did decide to do that considering how bad it is but because it's a hospital ship they cannot offer any resistance whatsoever so basically yes it is a floating hospital but that's one major door back and that is it cannot refuse anybody over enemy nor Ally so yes but then it is one of the most targeted ones same time

I have seen hospitals being attacked in the two most recent military stand offs do why will these tyrant leaders spare a ship. Today war has no rules as diplomacy has died.
