same, Go3 was disgusting fanfic. So, here’s why GO3 is definitely not canon: First of all, what was that whole thing about “Crowley’s best angel”? I mean, at what point is he this all-gentle, fluffy little angel? He’s different from other demons, just as Azirafael is different from the other angels. They’re both lazy, self-centered, headstrong, cunning… kind to each other and interested in people! But Crowley, just like Azirafael, has never put people’s interests first. In the first season, their motivation for saving the world from Armageddon is literally the life they’re used to and love–living AMONG people and the things they create—as well as their love for each other. The idea of people’s freedom and independence from hell and heaven comes from “Them,” not from Aziracrow. Second, reincarnation as such simply cannot exist without God, Satan, and miracles, which is what causes the entire supposedly happy ending to collapse. Plus, once again, the theme of free will versus fate doesn’t even give Aziracrow a chance to be reborn and love one another WITHOUT contradicting the plot. Because that would mean the first season was a mess and a mistake, and it means nothing. + The first season and These show us how important it is to be able to FIX things, rather than wipe everything the hell out. So why the hell do Aziracrow come to the conclusion that they need to destroy everything and start over (which is exactly what they were fighting against in S1)?
