The documentary on Sam Bateman, “Trust Me: The False Prophet”, on Netflix is outstanding. Not only in the way that it chronicles the manipulation and abuse, but the way in which Christine and Tolga, demonstrate their compassion, patience, and determination to love, respect, and ultimately rescue these women and young girls. They shined a light on the evil ways that religion can be used to obtain sex, money, and power.
