I'M GONNA TWEAK The Enneagram graph shows the types' disintegration and integration, showing which two types have the traits your type has adopted from. (It probably would have been useful if I had just used the one with actual arrows but nah). It can be quite helpful when it comes to checking whether you're mistype or not if you're unsure. How do you always react when you're in a stressful situation? Does it only happen when you're in that situation? Something like that. You could check whether you relate to those two types traits, positive or negative. However, from what I've heard, you can move in both directions. For example, your growth line is type 9 but when you get too comfortable, you may slowly start to adopt the unhealthy traits from type 9. THE LINE OF INTEGRATION : "If we are under a sudden, acute shock, or if we are undergoing a period of severe, long-term stress, we may bypass our ordinary coping strategies and go directly to the low side of our Direction of Integration." THE LINE OF DISINTEGRATION : "When we are secure and self-aware, we can consciously 'do' our stress type-moving to the high side of that type to break out of a rut and access qualities that we normally lack."
