@monstrofarm: The leaves weren't the problem. They were the clue. One of the easiest mistakes to make with houseplants is assuming the first symptom tells you the answer. Yellow leaves don't always mean too much water. Drooping doesn't always mean it's thirsty. Brown tips don't always mean low humidity. Plants communicate through clues, not conclusions. The more clues you learn to recognize, the easier it becomes to diagnose problems before they get worse. That's the mindset I use every time I look at a plant, and it's the foundation of something I've been building behind the scenes for last few months.
