@thrigbyhall: 🎉 Happy 3rd Birthday to Raja! 🐅🥳 Last weekend, our handsome Sumatran tiger celebrated his 3rd birthday, and of course our keepers made sure the occasion was extra special! Raja enjoyed some giant ice blocks filled with tasty treats – the perfect birthday enrichment to encourage his natural behaviours while helping him stay cool in the warm weather. 🧊❤️ We’ve had lots of questions about how our animals cope during the hot weather, and we’re pleased to reassure everyone that they have all been doing well. Our dedicated keepers work hard to make sure every species has plenty of ways to keep comfortable, including access to shade, fresh water, cooling treats like ice blocks and pools where appropriate, with each animal’s needs carefully considered. Raja certainly seemed to approve of his birthday surprise – what better way to celebrate than with a cool, refreshing treat on a sunny day? 🎂🐯
