no they wouldent? if it was it would only influence our behaviour... cordicepts dosent even control the ants. the ants if they had a bigger brain wouldent be influenced by it as much. sure they might have severe brain problems and die anyway. but it would change a "climb to hight" to "i feel the urge to climb to a hight" and again. if it does somehow infect somones brain to tell it to bite and spread. the key functions of it that will make it powerfull. would also be thwarted by other things such as bacteria in the gut. or the complexity of the brain itself. it would consume alot more energy to "control" us that it wouldent grow very far. or very easily. and at the point they do in games. its take a WHOLE lot to stay alive. because the body will dry out. the fruiting bodys would dry out. the bodys would cease to exist. they would be better. creating their own body.

The thing is, I’m not gonna try to rent too long but my teacher told me that there will be never be in a zombie apocalypse. You can get storms. You can get tsunami you can get high wind pressure and you can even get people viruses infections that can kill other people but my teacher told me something important they will never ever be in a zombie apocalypse. I asked my teacher when it was 2023. It’s 2026. Nothing ever happened. I swear if 2026 gets any worse I’m ending it here.
