There is a service call imagination library it’s created by Dolly Parton but if it’s available in your area (it should be) you get a free book mailed to you every month until they are like 5 I think

I legit never let my parents throw out or give away a single book I ever had. I now have a progressive bookshelf our coming kid can read (or be read to) from for the first 5-ish years of life

My wife and I travel to NPs a lot and get her a book to every one we go to called “Good night, ——— national park”. Shes got five this year 😁

Everyone at my shower gave me a book instead of a paper card. They wrote their notes inside. My son is almost 3 and I cry when i come across one of them. It brings so much joy into a random day seeing a heartfelt message from someone who loves you and your baby. You Truly never know when you might need that little message🫶🏻
