@camiliabellydance: 🥁 What a beautiful way to close the 15th Anniversary Edition of Oriental Cocktail! @orientalny.koktajl.festival The day after the festival, we had the privilege of hosting a very special workshop with the incredible Chronis Taxidis chronistaxidis – an outstanding percussionist and master of Middle Eastern rhythms. This workshop was both the final part of our live music project presented during the festival and a separate open workshop for dancers who wanted to deepen their understanding of rhythm, musicality, and improvisation with live tabla. For several hours, we explored the most important Middle Eastern rhythms, learned how to truly listen to the music, interpret it through movement, and communicate with a live musician. It was an inspiring experience filled with knowledge, practical exercises, and lots of positive energy. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us! ❤️ Very soon we'll be sending all participants the workshop photos, videos, and additional learning materials. It was the perfect ending to the 15th Anniversary Edition of Oriental Cocktail – the oldest belly dance festival in Poland.
