You would be right, if there weren't 2 Times of AI's. the AI's that apps use are Traditional AI's, the harmless Ai's, these can only act based on their programming and not act outside of it, But generative AI, like for example Chat GBT, or the ai you used to generate the Voice for the video, these are the AI's that use up all the water and are generally very bad for the environment. Also, basically everything these Generative AI's do is steal stuff, it even uses fake informations. One example is when they generate pictures, they take stuff from other pictures and kind of mix it together, which also causes the Mistakes in the picture, hope this helps you understand what everyone means when they say that AI is bad ^^
