@thisisjesseo: Many of us never received meaningful sex education. Instead, we were left to figure things out through silence, shame, misinformation, or pornography. I believe Billy Porter’s recent disclosure opens the door to an important conversation about the need for better education, greater compassion, and less stigma around LGBTQ+ sex. If you’re looking for affirming, evidence-based sexual health information, here are a few resources to explore: • PlannedParenthood.org • FenwayHealth.org • Callen-Lorde.org • SFAF.org (San Francisco AIDS Foundation) I’d love to hear your thoughts. 🖤🌈 #billyporter #blacklgbtq #bottoming #bottoms #blackgaymen

I really appreciate anything that is educational that most others may perceive as taboo. This is a good conversation to have because a lot of resources available aren't always educational.

You are absolutely right, I remember trying to read books to teach me. Had to rely on trial and error.

You are so right and until very recently, there were no resources about trans sex.

This is an excellent point. I was fortunate but didn't know it. As a 20-year old in 1980, I went into a gay bookstore in Philly's gayberhood and this book was prominently placed on the counter. My then virgin ass ead it in 2 days. It helped me learn about my body, as well as talk my partners through receiving me.

Why did the public need to know this about anyone. Isn't that a personal choice between partners?
