My husband and I are team truck drivers and we drive from Calhoun, Georgia to Kent, Washington and back every week. I spend Friday night and Saturday afternoon meal prepping everything we will be eating for the week.

I drive from Northern AZ to CA every 2 months. I have an almost halfway point where I stop. It’s always the the same spot. The only diner in town. I order the omelettes or eggs and protein. I skip the hash browns and opt for fruit. I figure how bad could it be? My drive is 8hrs.

I’ve always done lots of road trips. Whether it’s for vacation or figure skating competitions for my kids and we always pack healthy drinks and snacks as a bare minimum. However, I usually pack stuff for healthy wraps or sandwiches, fruit, veggies, built puff bars/protein bars, protein drinks, etc. it really depends on how long we will be gone/how far the drive is.

I bring my water, protein etc. when we drive to Michigan to see my mom. There is always a grocery store to get food so we do that.
Enjoy your trip. 🍀💚🍀

Get some compression socks that will help your legs not to swell or not swell as bad and it helps you to where you don’t get blood clots👏👏

My hubby & I went on vacation from Oklahoma to Florida, we packed drinks (water & glass bottle coke) in the ice chest & we had a "snack" bag (cold bag from Sam's). It helped cut down on spending so much when we stopped for fuel/ect.

I try to bring healthier snacks like beef jerky or something to keep me from buying chips at gas stations! lol! I will also meal prep and put in cooler - especially when we traveled with the kids- saved a lot of $$$!!

Since I do not do fast food anymore, I like to bring high protein snacks in the car with me. And I only drink iced tea and or bottled water so that’s easy. Of course for the kids meaning my grandchildren if they’re with me, they are happy with fruit and with Snacks like Cheetos. Usually, we have at least one stop at Chick-fil-A.

I always pack snacks and a cooler! Nuts, protein bars, turkey pepperoni and turkey sticks with string cheese and wheat thins or quest chips. Easy grabs to eat in the car.

Depends. This weekend we went away and I packed stuff for myself. Our FL trip, I’ll probably meal prep. Minus a Buccees breakfast sandwich. 😂
