Scorpion does not have any reason to be the main character. He does not give a shit about the main conflict of the story he’s in it to be a wildcard cautionary tale that shows up and throws the pace of the story out the window. His background is basic and understandably making him sympathetic but his niche is on the opposing side from the good guys, he never makes the correct decisions and almost always loses sight of what’s actually important in pursuit of goals that are no longer truly achievable. Scorpion functions best as a foil to the main characters and an outlet for the audience.
