Nna I once cried missed my interview same story sa gps and I went off road, sat in their van for 25 mins,they released me after the call came on cos they were asking where I was. I cancelled my interview there and then and cried, luckily they called me later for interview next day and I got that job.

I swerved to avoid a pothole in the middle of the road, not realizing a National Traffic officer was driving behind me. They pulled me over and, instead of greeting me, the first words were: “Hei wena, paka la! Udakiwe wena.” I calmly replied, “Officer, you’re not going to speak to me like that. Treat me with respect, and I’ll do the same.” He then asked for my driver’s licence and told me to open the boot. I complied, but made it clear I was only doing so to avoid wasting my own time. After searching the car and finding nothing, I said, “Next time, please be polite when dealing with civilians. I’m not your friend, and you’re at work. Professionalism isn’t a favour it’s part of the job.” Respect should go both ways.
