![- Highly Recommend. Unique setting, - In the old day, I often re-read this. And I re-read this again after like 5 or 6 years and it's still a good story. - A Doctor (Sangmin) turns back time to save his wife's life. She was trapped in her country's traditional practice as Kumari and died early bcs of HIV/AIDS -She was 'forced' to be Kumari (some kind of 'God' representative in form of a child by her family, so they could get money) and later being casted out when she got her first menstruation, bcs Kumari is considered not 'pure' anymore. And it's believed that anyone that got near an ex-Kumari only bring misfortune. To the point her family left her. She becames a Kumari for like 10 years and in that period of time, she treated like a godly being (it's prohibited to walk with her own two feet, prohibited to smile, there's always a maid that tend to her needs, not having a basic social experience) and she wasn't allowed to go to school. So, after she becames an ex-Kumari, ppl don't want to take her to do ordinary work, nor she know how to read. So, she basically can do nothing at all. -In her first life, she forced to work as a prostitute after becomes an ex-Kumari and she got HIV. After Sangmin married her, she only got to life for one year. Sangmin can't take the fact, so he cames back to her hometown. Somehow, the 'god' makes a deal with him. He could turn back time to save Sita, but he must sacrifice [ ]. He agreed and turned back time to the time Sita haven't becomes a Kumari -In this second life, he saves Sita that almost choose on despair way of living. He becomes like a father figure for her. Later, Sita will meet with his another self in that timeline and they fallin' love and got married. -His duty is fullfilled and he died. He meets with the 'God' being that makes a deal with him to turn back time. Turns out, that 'God' being is 'his' Sita. In the end, he is reunited again with the love of his life. That's why I still considered this as a happy ending. Detail Rating: -Art 7,5/10 -Story 9/10 -Flow 8/10 (it might be confusing for some ppl, bcs it has back and forth story flow.
