My mum works for a charity shop and any returns are sent to them to sell. Brand new stuff from Amazon or boohoo. I don’t see an issue with it, for people struggling it allows them access to new things?

I get you dont like new items, but if somebody had a bag full of stuff like new clothes they don't want anymore (for some reason) it would make sense to send it to a charity shop than throw it out?

charity shop group in on Facebook group admin posted new craze seen in some shops books wrapped up in brown paper called pot luck books so no idea what the book is until get out the shop

Heartstopper is a good read but it is available to read online on Alice Osman's website so you could read online first and buy a copy after if you like it!
